Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor

 

Based on the European Directive (96/35/EG) all companies which are involved in transport or handling dangerous goods, must have a certified dangerous goods safety advisor.

This DGSA has the responsibility, to ensure that the laws and regulations that apply to the activities, are obided.

The responsibilities of the DGSA are laid down in the ADR chapter 1.8 and involve for instance:

  • carry out risk analysis
  • check compliance, provide unsolicited advice
  • assist in preparing ER plans
  • investigate accidents and incidents
  • establish annual dangerous goods reports.

SCT Adviesidensten supports it's clients in fulfilling th role of DGSA. This is allowed as long as a written and signed contract is present.
