SQAS stands for Safety and Quality Assessment System. The system is the interpretation of the Responible Care principles in the supply chain. The SQAS program is modular based. A SQAS module was developed for almost every activity in the supply chain. For marine based activities the CDI shcem (IMPCAS) exist, which is similar to SQAS.
Core questions are developed for every module. These Core questions are the same for each module, so multiple SQAS modules can be combined in an assessment. Besides the core questions, activity specific questions are included. For each question a guidance was developed whcih has to be followed. After implementation of a Safety, health, environmental, quality and security system based on SQAS, an organisaton can participate in the assessment program. The results are published in a report and for 3 years filed in Cefic's database. The system does not include certificaiton.

We can help implementing risk management systems, security plans, etc. We can train your management and employees on SQAS. We developed specific BBS programs for Cleaning Stations and Warehouses via our e-learning center Scienta.org.
