In may 2007 the NEN-EN-12798 got into force. This standard was derived form the originally Dutch standard NEN 2726. The standard applies to companies that transport dangerous goods. The standard can be well used in addition to a quality managmeent system based on ISO 9001. The safety management system can be certified. We think, however that this standard is outdated, due to the importance which is given to SQAS.
