ISO 9001

The standard ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems. Developed in 1987 (ISO 9001, 9002 and 9003), revisions were published in 1994, 2000 and in the year 2008. Currently the standard is published in one single standard: ISO 9001.

The standard provides an instrument to develop a quality management system. The standard consists of minimum requirements, to which an organisation must comply. Independant certification bodies can assess the management system and issue certificates after approval.

SCT Adviesdiensten B.V. developed the ‘Standard Quality Do It Yourself Book’ in 1990 and lead the implementation of quality management systems in the Benelux already at that time. We kept deveopling our approach. We still provide digital examples of different manuals, processes etc. to our customers. Our philosophy is however, that management systems should always be ‘tailor made’.

Our activities focus on:

  * Implementation of ISO 9001 quality management systems
  * Maintenance and modification of implemented systems
  * Pre start research/surveys
  * Internal auditing
  * Second party auditing (supplier audits)
  * Interim quality management
